Economic Development Achievement Award goes to Quinte's Chris King!

McSweeney & Associates congratulates Chris King on this top honour, bestowed at the President's dinner of the Economic Developers Council of Ontario on February 8, 2007.


Chris was recognised for the hard work, service, and leadership in his community (Belleville, Quinte West and Brighton). In late 2006, Chris landed a major investment in Belleville, a $100 million new plant by Kellogg's to manufacture breakfast cereal, the first major plant in 20 years for Kellogg's. This followed less than a year after McSweeney & Associates identified food processing and a number of food sub-sectors (including cereals) as a target industry for the Quinte area.
