ESRI Canada (the equivalent of Microsoft in the GIS - Geographic
Information Systems world) invited Eric McSweeney to address the
Toronto ESRI Users Conference in Toronto in October 12, 2006. The
conference highlighted innovative applications of ESRI mapping
software. Eric delivered a presentation on how the new Ontario East
Economic Development Commission web portal will serve site selection
professionals to meet their site selection needs in Eastern Ontario.
The web site
offers a number of unique internet mapping features to assist site
selectors in quickly narrowing their search of suitable communities in
Eastern Ontario.
