Eric McSweeney
Eric McSweeney is an economic development consultant, providing practical guidance and assistance to clients seeking innovative economic development solutions. Eric's broad base of skills and experiences, and his results-oriented manner have been warmly received on numerous consulting assignments throughout Central and Eastern Europe and at home in Canada.
Eric is a Certified Economic Developer (Fellow), and is also a Business Retention and Expansion International certified consultant. He was the first publicly employed Canadian professional to receive one of the most coveted real estate certifications, the Certified Commercial Investment Member. An additional certification followed, the Accredited Land Consultant, awarded by the Realtors Land Institute. Eric is a process facilitator, an adult education trainer, and is also a Business Retention and Expansion International certified consultant.
Eric served for a number of years as a rural volunteer firefighter, is a Past Chair of the Ottawa Chamber of Commerce, and is currently a Board member of the Ottawa Airport Authority.


Brian Davidson
Brian has a solid background in technology cluster development and facilitation, coupled with networking connections across major sectors of the Ottawa economy. He has facilitated major economic investment attraction and retention projects, and worked with international business delegations in setting up business matchmaking opportunities with local companies. He has practical experience in developing, in partnership with business and government, targeted employment and human resource development initiatives, including facilitation workshops and client counseling services. This experience is further supplemented with an established track record in marketing and launching corporate and product marketing programs.
Bruce Wilson
Bruce Wilson has extensive economic development experience, particularly in investment marketing. In his Ontario MEDT career, Bruce served as Managing Director for the Midwest USA, Managing Director for New England, and Investment Commissioner for Eastern Ontario. In these roles, Bruce marketed Ontario as an investment location and helped secure more than $100 M in investment for Ontario. Bruce also spent 7 years in senior trade positions for Foreign Affairs and International Trade. He is a past President of the American Economic Development Council.
Bruce has thirty years experience in helping organizations succeed by improving their strategy, marketing operations and opportunity identification. He has held positions in organizational development, government agencies and associations. His strengths include negotiating and issue management. He brings a multi-industry and multi-level government knowledge, a global perspective, small business, corporate, and not-for-profit experience to the team.
Moira Winch
Moira provides management consulting to municipalities both in Canada and in developing countries based on her experience of 20 years in Canadian local government. Moira is a a Certified Economic Developer (Fellow).
Moira’s areas of specialization include:
- economic development;
- local government restructuring, either as a result of amalgamations or annexations, or as a result of internal reorganization to achieve efficiency and accountability;
- organizational strategic planning and community strategic planning;
- consultation, facilitation and public participation policy development and implementation;
- public/private partnerships;
- project management;
- leadership development; team building; decision making; priority setting.
