Prior to consulting, he worked at the City of Ottawa from 1977 to 2000 holding roles that included Director of Economic Development. My Story
My adoration for economic development runs deep. I see the value in a solid platform and aspire to reflect my compassion into inspiration for change. But consulting is only half of what I do. As a leader of a strong and talented team I find my place as a coach and teacher; simply communicating complex Economic Development concepts to those willing and eager to understand how to better their communities for long term sustainability. As a trained facilitator and a trainer in economic development, process facilitation and strategic economic planning I enjoy teaching those whom would become the consultants of the future.
I find my love of travel was stimulated early when I had an opportunity as a teen to travel across Canada working as a “carnie”, working such infamous fairs as the Calgary Stampede, Edmonton Klondike, Red Deer Westerner Days, Brandon Manitoba Summer Fair. I truly find comfort in the outdoors, in the adventures of life; collecting beautiful wines and challenging rides on my dirt bike. But even with the best of intentions I cannot escape my passion to educate, teaching and playing with my grandchildren…wondering what sort of community will help shape their future.
