My adoration for economic development runs deep. I see the value in a solid platform and aspire to reflect my compassion into inspiration for change. But consulting is only half of what I do. As a leader of a strong and talented team I find my place as a coach and teacher; simply communicating complex Economic Development concepts to those willing and eager to understand how to better their communities for long term sustainability. As a trained facilitator and a trainer in economic development, process facilitation and strategic economic planning I enjoy teaching those whom would become the consultants of the future.
I find my love of travel was stimulated early when I had an opportunity as a teen to travel across Canada working as a “carnie”, working such infamous fairs as the Calgary Stampede, Edmonton Klondike, Red Deer Westerner Days, Brandon Manitoba Summer Fair. I truly find comfort in the outdoors, in the adventures of life; collecting beautiful wines and riding into the sunset on my motorbike. But even with the best of intentions I cannot escape my passion to educate, teaching and playing with my grandchildren…wondering what sort of community will help shape their future.
